Meet your Instructor
Hi, I am Lee Assam!
I bring to the table over 20 years of professional electrical engineering and software development experience. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Masters Degree in Computer Science and in addition to being an Adjunct Professor at multiple universities for over 8 years, I have about 100, 000 students learning from me online!
I am a geek and a techie and I started playing around with the Raspberry Pi since 2012 and have learned so many things. I spent hours and hours tweaking, prototyping, building projects and learning the ins and outs of how the Raspberry Pi works.
Now it is time for me to share ALL my KNOWLEDGE with YOU!
My passion for innovation has resulted in several wins in Hack Day competitions. I hold 10 US Patents and have numerous Patent Applications currently being reviewed. I try to understand how the latest technology can be used to solve business problems and challenges in creative ways.
My hobby is Arduino, Raspberry Pi and the Internet of Things (IoT). I use my Electrical Engineering background coupled with software development skills to create and develop exciting projects.
I prefer a hands-on, project-based learning approach and use my teaching background to make concepts fun and entertaining, while at the same time educational and informative.
